Jim Willwerth

Jim Willwerth is the Senior Scientist in Viticulture at the Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI), Brock University. His responsibilities are to perform research and outreach services in the field of viticulture with emphasis on grapevine winter hardiness and the priorities of the Canadian grape and wine industry. He currently has multiple research projects ranging from grapevine winter hardiness and freeze protection to testing novel bird deterrents and grapevine clonal evaluations.
